"When I reached my 60th birthday I decided that old age might be less unpleasant if I were fitter, stronger, more flexible and less likely to fall and break bones! So for the first time in my life I made a commitment to get fitter and to keep exercising on a regular basis, something I had never achieved before despite having joined the gym many times and bought many bits of home fitness apparatus, which of course sat and gathered dust after the initial enthusiasm had waned!
I decided a Personal Trainer was the only answer! I started seeing Kim once a week and quickly realised that twice a week would be a lot better! Kim has been everything I needed and for the first time in my life I have been exercising consistently for over five years! The difference in my general health and fitness has been very noticeable, and in particular my chronic back problems have virtually resolved and I have stopped being a regular patient at the osteopath's. Kim is very knowledgeable and professional in her approach and combines firmness with supportiveness in perfect proportions! Each session includes a mixture of Cardio, Strength, Flexibility and Balance exercises; the sessions are hard work but we always have fun and a laugh as well and the feeling of achievement afterwards is great! "I hate going to the gym .. its boring and to be honest I don't know what to do when I am there! Then Kim came along, she took time to find out about what I wanted out of the sessions. Although I am a sporty person already I wanted to increase my fitness, but mainly my stamina as I play a lot of netball. I wanted to learn to run - I know that sounds stupid (can't everyone run ?) well the answer to that is no - it's very hard.
Kim worked on routines specifically designed to help me play a better game of netball and increase the stamina I needed. She taught me how to run and increase my confidence, that I can do it - always encouraging me every step of the way. Over the weeks I really noticed a major change in my game of netball, especially 'jumping' to get interceptions and being able to keep going for the whole hour.
My diet is not the best, and Kim was great at giving advice on nutrition as well. She is very approachable and we always have a giggle"

I am a sporty individual and have joined various gyms over the years but found it difficult to motivate myself to go. When I did go I had no idea of what the best routine would be for me. After months of wasted money I heard Kim was offering personal training so I dropped the gym and started with her immediately.
Kim identified the areas I wanted to work on and from day one worked with me to improve my fitness levels and tone up the areas I was unhappy with.
Kim offers such a variety of different routines including boxing which is fantastic its amazing how much you work the whole of your body and how good you feel after.
I really look forward to my training sessions. Kim is very encouraging and easy to get along with. Most of all you walk away feeling you have really worked out.
